Walking and exploring beautiful areas around me has always come naturally and wanting to share the sights I have seen I started taking my camera with me, back-then it was an old Ricoh film camera and like most other novices, black and white film was usually the order of the day. There is an old Chinese saying that says, “If you do not climb the mountain you will not see the plain”, I love this, and so true it is. More recently, I have traded in my Ricoh, but you will have to google to find out what for.

Hi David, thanks for the comment. Use the search bar top right to look for cape of storms kalk bay to see some more pics I photographed here. I love landscape photography and really should do more of it. Lately I have been taking most of my landscape photos with my mobile phone. Being far away from the city and high up in the mountains or on an empty beach looking for that perfect photo is something I really enjoy.
