FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY – FOOD PHOTOGRAPHER
I started off taking photographs of food when I was working as an advertising executive and one of my first clients was the owner of the famous Harbour House restaurant in Kalk Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. My food photography skills got better each month and the knowledge I have gained has helped me apply myself even more so far as to say that this area of photography is fast becoming a favourite of mine. The role of the food photographer is to elicit the same mouth-watering reaction as the smell of freshly baked bread early in the morning. Eat with your eyes is another term I’ve heard mentioned on more than one occasion. All in all if your pictures can speak, they should be saying, “Eat me, eat me now!” lol.
